PLEATS AND PASTELS
I think I'm addicted to scarves. Seriously, I have just counted them, I already own 24 of them and I still can't resist one that's cute. How weak of me! I got this little number in these photos from a second hand store nearby that sells thos kind of scarves for only one Euro each. I mean, who wouldn't be tempted?
My whole outfit today consists of second hand pieces, except for the tights and the bracelet. I love that kind of stuff, my clothes today have cost me less than 20 € overall and I don't need to feel guilty

Pretty Pleats
One of the best discoveries of my life (ok, that might be a slight exaggeration) is that you can wear a top, sweater or jacket over a dress and totally transform it. I got this darling dress at Nordstrom for a decent price back in November. Today I decided to put a see through knit sweater over it so it looks like I am just wearing a pleated mini-skirt. I really love the way this looks. I accessorized with a cool belt, necklace and adorable shoes. I am quite smitten with this outfit, if I could wear an outfit like this every day, I totally would.

Putting it In Neutral
Greetings, beautiful friends. Hope you all have been having a wonderful weekend. I got in some retail therapy yesterday and ended up with four pairs of shoes, 2 dresses, 2 tops, a skirt, handbag, belt and a watch. A pretty successful day in my opinion. The skirt and handbag in these photos were purchased yesterday. How do you like them?
I really love these lace tights, they add such a dimension to an outfit. The back of this outfit is actually more interesting than the front. I love outfits that have a surprise element to the back. The vest is all lace in the back and the skirt has a wide vertical line. I added a simple necklace and bow bracelet as accessories.

Rank and File
Hello fellow fashion lovers! Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I decided to wear a color today I do not own or wear a lot of: Army Green. I tend to like it as a great neutral, but for some reason I just never think to wear it. My mom was kind enough to buy me four pair of colorful tights (in case you are a new reader to my blog, I have a bit of an obsession with colored and patterned tights) that she found for $1 a piece. My mom is pretty awesome, I've probably mentioned that too.
These were one of those pair and I was really eager to wear them since I haven't ever had a pair of tights from the green family. I paired the tights with a similar colored button down top that was lost in the abyss that is my closet, a black faux leather skirt, multi-strand necklace and leopard print heels for fun.
Skirt: H&M, Necklace and Bracelet: Kohl's, Tights: Gift (JC Penney),
Leopard Heels: Clothes Mentor, Top: Old
Mixed Signals
Hi all! Sorry I have been sparse these past few weeks, there has been a whole lot going on. Today I officially rejected an offer to stay where I am currently working. I was not pleased with the monetary side of it and I feel like this is my opportunity to change careers and do something different. It's nerve-racking and exciting all at the same time. We will see what comes about from my job hunt, hopefully I will find something sooner than later.
On to my outfit. I got these amazingly fun tights for a birthday present and immediately wanted to wear them. I knew I wanted to mix the big dot print on the tights with stripes, thus the belt and shoes. Mixing prints is effortless when you keep it in the same color family. Pair it all with a pink skirt and it's a party on our body. Am I right? Of course I am. It was lightly snowing when I took these pictures, just so you know those aren't huge flakes of dandruff.

Le Sac & Spidey
Well today I wore the American Apparel Le Sac dress which I adore along with my spider web tights and some flats. I did wear a sweater because it was windy. I love this dress because you can wear it so many different ways but tying the enormously long straps in different formations! :)
