Back to Black

  I'm a firm believer in the "less is more" concept - especially when it comes to styling. More often than not, keeping a look simple is the biggest favor you can give yourself in terms of fashion and styling. Because then, YOU are always the focus, and your outfit complements you, rather than the other way around!

  For this look I decided to go back to basics, in a sense - no patterns, no beaded textures. I went with more classic pieces and cuts that will ALWAYS work and be on trend, so they are pieces you can keep in your closet seemingly forever :)

 For my top I'm wearing a structured, bandage, strapless top with a sweetheart neckline. Sweetheart necklines are my favorite, and they are the ultimate in terms of classic, feminine cuts :) I'm wearing a high-waisted skater skirt with it since it focuses attention towards the waist for a more flattering fit.

Toss on a pair of sheer tights and black pumps, and you have an evening outfit that can be worn for a plethora of events! This would also be a great look to wear a statement lip color with, such as a bold burgandy or deep berry ;) And you can easily wear your hair down, or up in a bun or even a ponytail with this look for added versatility!

Let's Go Steady

 Bananasauce it's been a dramatic week to say the least, and it's only Wednesday!! So I figure, we could all use a break from the shenanigans going on. And what says 'delightful distraction' more than polkadots!? My thoughts exactly. 

I love this outfit for a date night: it's sweet and flirty, fitted and flared where necessary. I love that the modest neckline suggests 'good girl,' but the hemline still gives it some sass, because let's be real - good girls do have all the fun ;)

However, I have a confession: when I bought the dress it was a bit longer, and I had the tailor adjust the hemline. As much as I wish I did, I don't have long legs, so in-between lengths do me NO favors. I usually need to adjust hemlines so my legs don't look as short as they actually are, lol! Listen, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do ;)

I also felt the dress slightly monotonous on its own, so I knew I needed a belt to balance it out. I popped over to Forever 21 and quickly found this patent bow belt that went perfectly with the dress, for an easy topper. To continue accessorizing, I added the sheer tights for a light evening look. My quickly becoming signature flower hairpiece was also added to add balance to my upper half - as well as to heighten the playfulness of my look.

It's all finished off with my platform, double-strap, velvet Mary-Jane pumps. IlovethemIlovethemIlovethem. I purchased these from lulus.com about a year ago, and while they're more seasonal: fall/winter, I absolutely adore them. I think it's a wonderful duality to have the sexiness of a pump combined with the demureness of a Mary-Jane strap (and double to boot!). The shoes are actually comfortable, and I love that lulus.com always has affordable shoes that are implicitly stylish :) 

Anyways, my darlings, now that we're all dressed for our date, I hope you don't find me to forward in asking if you'd go steady with me? I think you're pretty swell, and I'd really like to be your girl...at least when it comes to fashion and such ;)

Darkness

Nový týden a s ním jsou tady i nové fotky. A určitě jste si všimli, že jsou poněkud jiné než obvykle. Udělaly jsme s Laur malý experiment a fotily po setmění. Co říkáte? :) Jinak jsem se zamilovala do silonek, které mám na fotkách, jen bohužel nevím, kde se v mé skříni vzaly, natož kde jsem je koupila :D  Přeji vám krásný večer.

 Krásný den!:) Hahaa...Konečně jaro! Je to úžasné, že ano? :D O víkendu bylo naprosto božsky, takže jsem vytáhla bílé šaty a mého milého, a vyrazili jsme fotit :P Není to vůbec špatné, nemám pravdu? GOLD SKIRT

 Zatímco nám venku zase nasněžilo, mrzne a na focení outfitů nemáme ani pomyšlení, připravila jsem pro vás fotky ještě z minulého týdne s outfitem, který jsem na sobě měla ve čtvrtek na CCF Show. Skoro vše jsem ukořistila na výprodejové akci eshopu BeChick.com, kde jsme se konečně osobně poznaly i s holkama, Hankou a Veronikou. Show byla fajn, jen velká škoda prostojů mezi přehlídkami, když se modelky převlékaly - ale to vystihla Beáta tady. A ještě bych asi měla přiznat, že jsem se nakonec neodvážila vyrazit v těhle vysokých lodičkách, ale na fotky mi přišla škoda vám je neukázat :)).

ROSED SKIRT!

 Good Morning Sweeties :)

Yesterday, the only certainty that I had, was that I wanted to use this skirt, my rosed skirt!

The skirt was on a separed hanger, alone, since the night before, waiting for the next day, guessing with which color and/or pattern, it would be mixed :P

The color was marine blue. With a vest, that I don't remember when was the last time I wore it, and with a pair of shoes that you know that I love, and some studded acessories ;)

Finally I found a "cuff necklace", and this time I decided to play with it adding it to my burgundy and gold necklace. Do you like the result?

Ontem, a única certeza que tinha para o coordenado, era que queria usar esta saia, a minha saia rosada!

A saia ficou num cabide em separado desde a noite anterior, à espera pelo dia seguinte, tentando adivinhar com que cor e/ou padrão iria ser misturada :P

A cor escolhida foi azul marinho, em forma de colete, que já não me lembro quando foi a última vez que o usei, e collants, uns sapatos que vocês sabem que adoro e mais com alguns studds à mistura, nos acessórios ;)

Finalmente consegui encontrar um colar cuff, e desta vez decidi brincar com ele e juntar-lhe outro que tinha em burgundy e dourado. Gostaram do resultado?

Black lace & Gray shades

 Hago otra parada en el photo diary de Amsterdam para enseñaros nuevo look con nueva prenda de la última colección deSugarlips.
Después de pensar varias opciones y sabiendo que el encaje negro tiene muy buenas combinaciones con jeans azules, finalmente me  decidí por combinarlo con una falda y haciendo que el conjunto entero fuera en tonos grises. El resultado me encantó!
Ahora os deseo un buen comienzo de semana, pero sobre todo, que paséis una feliz Noche Buena! Muchos besos!

Leather sleeve coat

 W płaszczu, który mają już wszyscy, jak to pięknie ujęła Sara. W płaszczu, który urzekł mnie swoją klasyką i prostotą i który jest idealny absolutnie do wszystkiego. Wykonany jest o dziwo świetnie, nie mogę narzekać na jego jakość. Doskonale pasuje do każdego basicowego outfitu. Dla ożywienia totalnie czarnego zestawu, zdecydowałam się na jasną, jeansową koszulę. Niestety jest za długa, by włożyć ją do spódniczki, na pewno lepiej sprawdziłaby siętaka, ale mimo wszystko jestem całkiem zadowolona z efektu. Jak Wam się podoba?

Wellingtons weather

 Piękne, rozmazane zdjęcia, z powodu których jestem niepomiernie wściekła, jeszcze przed chwilą były bardziej rozmazane i w dodatku krzywe. Niech ta plucha się już skończy, bo nie zdzierżę. Dzisiaj wszystko jest nieładne, krzywe i w ogóle nietakie. Pociesza mnie tylko myśl, że mam już weekend.

Stay Simple

Ostatnio spodobało mi się noszenie prostych koszulek z przyciągającymi nadrukami. Upatrzyłam sobie kilka w sieci i może wkrótce zobaczycie ich więcej. Dzisiejszy T-shirt pochodzi z kolekcji bloo90fashion dla Monashe i już wiem, że będzie moim wiosennym hitem. Jego prostota wymaga bycia konsekwentnym, dlatego zrezygnowałam z biżuterii i kombinowania. Nie mogę się doczekać, aż będę mogła zrezygnować z kozaków i futra na rzecz takich zestawów.

 Wreszcie miałam okazję odtworzyć mój urodzinowy zestaw! Nie jest to co prawda wierna kopia, fryzura i makijaż były zupełnie inne, ale starałam się jak mogłam! Jak już mówiłam ostatnio, moje błyszczące czółenka świetnie sprawdzają się na imprezach. Przetańczyły ze mną całą noc, doznały tylko lekkich obrażeń, ale tak to już jest, kiedy szpilki decydują się na imprezę ze mną. Mam nadzieję, że kiedyś mi to wybaczą, w każdym razie nie oszpeciłam ich w żadnym widocznym miejscu. Od razu przyznaję, że przeszłam szybki kurs fotoszopa na tych zdjęciach, co chyba widać po kolorach, bo aparat i światło dosłownie sprzysięgły się przeciwko mnie! Zdjęcia były albo przepalone, albo całkiem czarne. Może nie jest to dzieło sztuki, ale myślę, że całkiem nieźle sobie poradziłam i coś widać.

 Pierwszy raz chyba moge powiedzieć, z czystym sumieniem, że przerwa w blogowaniu nie jest spowodowana przeze mnie. Właściwie to powinnam być z tego zadowolona :) Bardzo dziękuję Mateuszowi za zdjęcia, jak zawsze okazał się niezawodny! Uprzedzając Wasze pytania, nie biegałam tak po ulicach i nie było mi zimno, kiedy na 5 minut zdjęłam płaszczyk. Chciałam dokładnie pokazać Wam jak świetnie wyglądają burgundowe czółenka ze skórzaną spódniczką i dobranym pod kolor butów body.  Zupełnie nic nowego. Black&white dress

 Kilka najbliższych dni spędzę odkrywając na nowo Lublin. Odwiedziła mnie moja pani fotograf, dzięki której na blogu nie zabraknie nowych postów. W pierwszej osdłonie możecie podziwiać sukienkę od sugarlips. Zdradzę w sekrecie, że taką samą, w rozmiarze S możecie znaleźć u mnie na fanpage'u w dziale "sprzedam".  Mam nadzieję, że weekend upłynął Wam tak wspaniale jak mnie. Niedziela już prawie za nami, niedługo rozpocznie się nowy tydzień. Dla mnie będzie to oznaczało dużo nauki, na której ostatnio nie mogłam się skupić. Muszę wiele nadrobić, więc posty nie będą pojawiały się często.  Nie wytrzymam i muszę się pochwalić, że takie oto zdjęcia robi skarb, po czterominutowym kursie obsługi nikona d90. Pękam z dumy i tyle tytułem wstępu :) Nie wiem czy juz dało się to zauważyć na blogu, ale ostatnio nie rozstaję się z naszyjnikiem zakupionym w I am. Wydaje mi się, że pasuje on dosłownie do wszystkiego. A że prostota kluczem do sukcesu, prezentuje Wam dzisiaj taki oto, zupełnie nieskomplikowany zestaw. Słynną złotą "hair cuff" z h&m zastąpiłam własnymi złotymi wlosami, w myśl zasady, że jak sie nie ma co sie lubi, to się lubi co się ma. Główną natomiast rolę odgrywają niebotycznie wysokie buty z Aldo. Uprzedzając Wasze pytania, tak, da się w nich chodzić i nawet nieźle mi to wychodzi. No ale cóż, nie mnie to oceniać.

I cannot say that my babe, after a four-minute tutorial of using nikon d90 took such great pictures. I'm really proud of him. I don't know if you could notice, but this necklace from I am became my favorite one lately. I think it suits everything, but I may be wrong of course. According to "the simplier, the better" I'd love to present you my newest, minimalistic outfit. The famous, golden hair cuff  from h&m was replaced by my own, golden hair. The main role is played by Aldo block heels, wearable, of course. I can barely run in them. Enjoy!

 Oto wczorajsza wesoła Twórczość marudy mojej. Zimno było i ciemno, pogoda dosłownie postawiła mnie pod ścianą. ;) To nie są najładniejsze zdjęcia, jakie zrobiliśmy, ale jedyne jakie dostałam. Arturowi te podobają się najbardziej. Nie jest to może też jakiś szczególnie warty pokazania outfit, ale mogę obiecać, że nowe notki pojawią się niedługo :) Ta będzie taka inna.

 Nienawidzę okresu kampanii wyborczej. Nie mogę już słuchać tego jazgotu ani patrzeć na to, co się dzieje w tym kraju. A kibice wpadający na boisko niczym stado rozpędzonego bydła i siejący wokół siebie zniszczenie przyprawili mnie o ból głowy. Ci ludzie mają dodatkowo własne poglądy polityczne, o których nie omieszkali poinformować społeczeńtwo na trzymanych prześcieradłach. Wstyd mi.
Zdjęcia zrobiliśmy z Arturem (http://www.facebook.com/arphotoPL) wczoraj w nocy. Było tak niemiłosiernie zimno, że pogodziłam się z myślą o ciężkiej chorobie, która mnie czeka. Ale łatwo się nie dam! That was the greatest sacrifice in the history of this blog. It was literally freezing when we were taking those pictures. But my photographer has done a great job, as you can see. So what I was trying to present is a little black dress from www.clubcouture.cc simple, but sexy. It's not so very short, the length depends on wearing and putting on. That was not the first time wearing it, just the previous photos sucked. I love to party and this is my favorite party dress. Stadion Lublinianki

 I've found a new stadium, due to the need to replace my old grandstand, which is about to be ruined. It cannot claim to be my next favorite place to hang out with friends or walk with my dog or even take photos, but guess there's no other option for now. Soon I'll be back in Warsaw where I'll have an opportunity to find a worthy background. Anyway, I'm writing to you as a break from taking english tests, cause i'm considering taking the certificate test very soon. I need the paper, but I know the 1st is not worth the money it costs. I'd love to take the second, but of course, I don't have enough time to practice. Meanwhile, I'll let myself show you some pictures.
