Dark Lady

 The red corset I'm wearing here is  my older piece of clothes, but as I do not wear anything that often( three times at most) everything is in perfect condition. And I take care of my clothes as of babies. I keep corsets in beautiful floral boxes, gloves and hats separately, cardigans, shirts, skirts-due to the material and colors. I regularly check if anything falls out, like a button. I wash delicate materials using my hands and special liquid detergents, making sure that not any of my clothes lose its color. It's really important to me.
I totally forgot about this corset. I didn't wear it for 3 years. I have got exactly the same one in puple.
I bought them while I was in high school, in Belgrade's H&M. While I was taking a look around the collection I saw this red one at the shelf, and I fell in love, but, then, Oh God! There were 4 colours of them.. Black, Red, Purple and White. I couldn't decide which one to buy..I couldn't buy all the colors, it would be too expensive, and I decided to buy purple and red.

Yellow - Black

 I put pictures of this yellow sweater. It's one of my fav things I bought so far. Comfy, perfect for autumn, perfect with everything you wear because of its shape and color. You don't have to add a lot of details, it's enough to combine it with black, and wear some nude shades of make up.

  Actually this was a dress which was one of my favourite, but wearing it a couple of times, I got a little bored of it as a dress, and made a change, and as my mum is great in sewing I just told her to cut the top part and made the high waisted skirt.

New Year's outfit

 Поздравляю вас с Новым годом! В 2013 году желаю вам быть счастливыми. Пусть в новом году будут здоровы ваши дети и родители. Пусть новый 2013 год принесет много ярких эмоций. 

Настроение прекрасное – для меня наступило самое волшебное время в году. Новый год – это отдых, практически полноценный отпуск. А это значит, много свободного времени, чтобы встретиться с друзьями, с родными. Для тех, кто шьет,  появляется много времени для творчества. Я имею на этот счет «наполеоновские» планы. Давно лежит белое вязаное полотно для нового платья, пара новых лоскутов для летней одежды и, надеюсь, дойдут руки до пошива нового пальто.

Новый 2013 год мы встречали на природе в "деревенском" доме в Жигулевских горах. К  празднику я сшила новое платье. Оно из парчи, с регулярным рисунком в виде маленьких "турецких" огурцов, которые расположились на золотом фоне. Первый раз работала с парчой. Ткань сильно сыпалась и разъезжалась. Все детали лифа укрепляла клеевой тканью. Юбка на сетчатом подъюбнике. Все платье продублировано трикотажной подкладкой, для комфортной носки.

 Пару постов назад, я анонсировала этот комплект. В эти выходные удалось сделать фотографии, которые мы с фотографом назвали "Библиотекарша". 

Моя «школьная» юбка с историей, я ее сшила из маминого платья, так же как и мама перешила платье из какого-то изделия. Ткань костюмная шерсть, в которой присутствуют сразу несколько цветов: молочный, розовый, черный, бордовый и коричневый. Юбка на кокетке, к которой пришито полотнище с заложенными складками.

Юбочка получилась короткая, озорная. Обычно юбки такой длины я не ношу, но эта исключение и я с удовольствием ее одеваю. Для меня в осеннее-зимний период обязательным дополнением к юбкам выступают плотные колготки, с ними я решаюсь носить мини.

В моем образе с юбкой присутствуют: майка Intemisimi, кардиган H&M, колготки Calcedonia, пояс Mohito.

Pencil skirt

 Мой серый офисный комплект состоит из юбки и блузы. Юбка из шерстяной ткани, с актуальным и любимым мною рисунком «елочка». Юбка с историей и родом из начала 90-х годов. Ранее ее шила и носила моя мама. Ткань юбки сохранилась в прекрасном состоянии, и изделие в моих руках обрело вторую жизнь. Юбку я перешила, добавила пояс из тафты, контрастный по фактуре, но гармонирующий по цвету. 

        Выкройка юбки простая, так как она прямая. Перешила я ее без выкройки, просто подогнав по фигуре. Юбка на подкладе, с застежкой сзади. 

     Блуза сшита из креп-шифона. Ее я демонстрировала в посте «4 в одном», где одевала с корсетным платьем. Блузу застегиваю в боковых швах на кнопки и предпочитаю заправлять в юбку. Очень люблю креп-шифон, так как эта ткань хорошо драпируется и практически не мнется. Для такого рода блузок она идеально подходит.

Gray dress

 Очень люблю платья. С недавних пор предпочитаю шить, покупать и носить только платья, особенно это актуально для лета. В платье есть один важный и неоспоримый для меня плюс – надевая платье, я «одеваю» на себя уже готовый образ. Мне не приходится ломать голову над тем, как сочетаются верх и низ комплекта. Моей задачей остается только подобрать аксессуары и обувь. Надела платье и готова выходить в люди.

Мое серое платье сшито из двустороннего трикотажа. Одна сторона ткани блестящая, другая матовая, но в тоже время фактурная и бархатистая. При пошиве  платья, лицевой стороной для него я выбрала матовую.

Лиф платья свободный, проймы широкие, приспущенные. Юбка облегает бедра. Лиф припосажен на юбку, на линии стачивания есть кулиска, в которую вставлена резинка.

Платье это я очень люблю за его скромную элегантность.  В моем образе с платьем я сочетаю палантин Promod, туфли Sisley, клатч Н&М, бижутерия Lady.

This outfit was all about making a skirt that seems appropriate for the office perfect for a night out on the town.  Tweed skirts and jackets are classics and often times they conjure up images of the ultimate tweed pieces designed by Chanel.  The beautiful blend of pink, black, and gray in this skirt is what led me to purchase it, as well as an overwhelming affection for pencil skirts.  Pencil skirts work well for women with hourglass figures and accentuate the waist and butt quite nicely.  You see Kim Kardashian wearing them a lot and she looks good in them.  I feel the same way about the pencil skirt.  It is demure in length, but not in fit.  This tweed one is not as form fitting as I had hoped, but the looseness works well for important work functions.  The way to make a pencil skirt work for night is to pair it with something ultra sexy and sheer like this silk chiffon blouse by Equipment.  You could also pair it with a slim corset and a blazer.  There are endless possibilities for styling a tweed pencil skirt.  A white button down makes it more appropriate for the office, but in the fashion blogging realm a sheer black silk chiffon shirt seems best.

These Alaia boots are one of my favorite pairs of black ankle boots.  I like black ankle boots a lot and I probably say that about every pair, but the leather braiding on these makes them unique and it doesn't hurt that the zipper has ALAIA emblazoned all over it.  I am all over that! These boots have a unique shape, maybe a fierce shape, that says don't walk all over me just because I am wearing a leather pleated schoolgirl skirt.  I may look sweet, but I can definitely kick your ass if needed.  The Chanel pearl sunglasses were part of the sweet and innocent look as well.  I fell for these hook, line, and sinker at the Chanel boutique in Las Vegas.

I paired the skirt with a cropped metallic sweater.  This sweater got pretty lackluster reviews on Shopbop, but I am in love with it.  The material feels great against my skin.  Someone said exactly the opposite on Shopbop.  Gilt Groupe had its first ever Vince sale and I was eager to snag some pieces.  Most of the time Gilt has pieces for sale from past seasons, but this time they had current items from Vince.  I was ecstatic.  I compared prices with Shopbop and some other places and walked away with three different sweaters, this being one of them.  It is black metallic and slouchy, exactly what I wanted. 

What is great about having leopard heels and other funky shoes is that you don't need as much jewelry or other accessories to complete the look.  The leopard print heels do all the work for you.  I was lucky enough to snag these Miu Miu leopard calf-hair sandals from Neiman Marcus for a great price.  I have the Miu Miu leopard ankle boots in the same print, but I just couldn't resist a sale price for the sandals.

Today I am featuring this Pleasure Doing Business skirt that is available on Tea Leaf Clothing.  It is the first item I have ever had from the Pleasure Doing Business brand and I have to say that I am quite happy with it.  I have tried bandage skirts from both Herve Leger and BCBG and I was pretty disappointed.  Herve Leger bandage skirts will cost you a pretty penny and the BCBG skirt left unsightly bulges.  For the first time, I have found a bandage skirt that really works and flows over my shape seamlessly.  It smooths your shape out just enough and you can still move around quite easily.  I will definitely be back for more Pleasure Doing Business skirts in the future.  This one in particular has beautiful gold stripes throughout and is the perfect skirt to transition you into spring.  I cannot wait to wear it with tanned legs. When I received it I was suprised to feel how substantial and well made it was and I looked later and found out that it was made in the USA.

Since it is so high waisted I decided to wear a cropped sheer tee on top.  My favorite crop tops are from KAIN Label.  The blend of modal and silk is soft against my skin and I like the slight sheerness so my T by Alexander Wang bra can be seen.  For shoes I wore my new Yves Saint Laurent woodstock platform sandals that my boyfriend bought me for Valentine's Day.  When I saw the skirt I knew they would be the perfect shoes for it because of the deep brown color.  I cannot wait to rock this same outfit in the spring without any tights.  I am not crazy about Yves Saint Laurent's standard heels, but I am wild about these unique sandals because they suit my personality so well.
