Un lunes mas os muestro un estilismo con una prenda que tenía muchísimas ganas de enseñaros, esta preciosa falda de tweed que he denominado "lovemade" porque ha sido hecha con mucho amor por mi madre, ella eligió la tela y entre las dos acordamos que diseño tendría. Así que para darle todo el protagonismo la he combinado con una sencilla camisa blanca y unas palas negras. 

El caso es que sobró algo de tela y estamos pensando en hacer una igual y subirla a la venta a Chicfy donde tengo muchas otras prendas que también han salido en el blog, ¿que os parece la idea? ;) Espero vuestras opiniones, ¡feliz día!

Lunes de vuelta a la rutina, aunque con solazo se lleva mejor. Hace unos meses os hablaba aquí de la tendencia de los metalizados, y me animé a experimentar con ella empezando por esta chaqueta biker metalizada exactamente igual a una de Zara. La mía es de Rosegal y no tiene nada que envidiarle. Esta fue mi elección para la noche de fin de año, ¿que os parece?

¿Os suena la experiencia de comprar algo sin estar del todo convencidas? Eso mismo me pasó con este vestido de Zaful, me gustaba mucho el corte midi, el plisado de la falda, el detalle del lazo al cuello e incluso el estampado de lunares, pero no sabía como me iba a sentar todo eso junto. Os confieso que ahora mismo este vestido me encanta, y ya me lo he puesto en alguna ocasión. También quiero enseñaros los pendientes de bolas de Zaful, ¡son amor! ¡Feliz semana! :)

THIS WAS 2017 AND MY NEW YEAR’S EVE LOOK

 Tomorrow 2017 will be history. Time to review and reflect the past year. Not only the highlights but also maybe something that did not quite run according to your own ideas should be, at least, mentally analyzed again. Self-reflection is a good tool for understanding your own goals

 My year 2017 brought many positive experiences. In January 2017 my most successful blogger year began when I was allowed to join the jury at Miss Earth Switzerland when the wonderful Sarah Laura Peyrel was named Miss Earth Switzerland 2017. Also in January 2017 I went together with Weleda on my first press trip to Vienna.

 In February, I attended the Swiss Music Awards for the first time and, for the second time, Switzerland’s largest fashion show, Mode Suisse. The trips should continue in March, together with my family I visited the Disneyland in Paris. Also in March, I visited for the first time the largest watch and jewelery fair Baselworld in Basel and was even able to try on the latest models at Gucci, Fendi and Co. In April, the Fashion Hotel in Zurich took place at the Kameha Grand. With Cosentino, I also visited Milan Design Week in Milan for the first time in April.

 In May, I visited Geneva at the Hotel N’vy Geneva for a pop-up event. For the first time, I was also allowed to attend the Energy Fashion Night in Zurich. In June Wellness on the farm was announced in the beautiful canton of Bern. The Fashion Week in Berlin took place in July, it was a lot of fun to be present at the various fashion shows. Despite the rainy weather I was able to wear summery outfits. At the events I met bloggers again, which I had never met live before. In July, I also traveled with Weleda to the beautiful Weleda Garden and helped harvest the calendula.

Before I could recover in the mountains of Livigno and toured the countryside with an e-mountain bike. It officially became official in August I had my master’s degree in law in my pocket. Reason enough to get to know your own surroundings a bit better and to spend your holiday in Central Switzerland. In autumn, Mode Suisse once again took place in Zurich. At the weekend we went to the Swiss mountains to St. Moritz. At the end of October, I already celebrated my 27th birthday. As a reward, my BFF went to Baden-Baden. Finally I made it to Paris just 2 weeks ago, a visit to the Eiffel Tower is definitely on the bucket list in case you’ve never been there before.

Now for my New Year’s Eve look main ingredient is the Little Black Strapless in my case and H & M, I wore this dress so often, because it just always fits. The beautiful golden fishnet stockings from Falke, there is not much to say. My cape-jacket makes sure that I do not feel cold. The beautiful heels with flower application and the great bag with stud application are from Supermauro.ch.

STATEMENT SHIRT & VARNISH MINI SKIRT

 Glossy varnish clothing is a current trend, rightly combined, a varnish mini skirt looks super stylish. In my today’s look it’s get rocking.

If you should ask yourself why I’m rumbling in the t-shirt, no it’s not a picture of last month. But autumn showed itself again from his sunny side, last week, at least here in Lucerne

Best opportunity to present a super rocking and stylish look. The mini skirt in the varnish look is a fashion statement. And yes, you definitely fall on ^^ Because varnish clothing has still a rather wicked reputation, this makes those pieces real eye-catcher. The Mini is by Even & Odd by Zalando.

When combining the look, however, it is important to create a certain balance, so a simple statement-shirt in white fits perfectly to the varnish mini. An equally daring part would simply be too much.  I wear beautiful wine-torn hole net tights by Falke to round it up.

The pretty ankle boots are of the current Ellie Goulding collection by Dosenbach and an absolute must-have. Because they can be combined so well, whether it’s like with a mini skirt or jeans. They are also super comfortable and inexpensive.

To this look clean jewelry fits well as my black gold watch by Rosefield. Even if some passers-by don’t like the look, I think it’s a great one 😉 In fashion is always synonymous for creativity, otherwise we would probably all forever and eternal wearing jeans and T-shirt’s.

So I can only advise you to go your way in fashion as long as you like it. And if you decide differently in a few years, you have at least something to smile on.

NEW YEAR’S EVE LOOK AND HAPPY

 Many of you are certainly feel like me, how fast the time flies. The year 2016 is soon already history. The annual transfer will be celebrated tomorrow. We leave what happened behind us and reflect.

 Let us reflect briefly the year 2016 and look at the future together. This of course not without many sequins ^ ^

On New Year’s Eve, not only the corks will popping, also our outfits and make-up looks may be slightly more conspicuous than usual. I chose a sequin dress accompanied by silver accessories and a fake fur jacket.

MY CHRISTMAS LOOK

 On saturday is christmas 2016 begins, besides the gifts and the feast, the outfit ha also to be carefully selected. Just at Christmas we try to make everything as beautiful as possible, the Christmas tree shines and the table is festively laid out. Today I will show you my outfit for the Christmas meal with the family.

the look

Especially if you like me celebrate christmas with the family in a small circle, it would be too much to come in the cocktail dress. Perfectly matching this comfortable knit dress by Yes or No, the knitted cardigan with opulent artificial fur collar (can be unbuttoned if it is too much;)) and golden accessories.

Black Pumps always fit, these are decorated with stress applications. The nails I have also painted in gray-silver matching to the dress.

 Personally, I always look forward to the traditional festivities, which are prepared according to our family tradition. Of course, I will prepare it myself 😉 For some years, the Christmas tiramisu has also been established, there is no better excuse to eat this sweet sin. Do you have a traditional Christmas dish?

NOBLE: BALMAIN H&M COOPERATION LOOK

 Hello my dears

It’s time again for an outfit inspiration. This time I was in Zurich to taking these pictures. The name of my outfit noble and classy.

Many of you have surely noticed the hype about the Designer cooperation of Balmain and H&M. I have found three pieces of this collection, but online without mass inertia. It’s now a bit of time has passed, but those clothes are not wearing it anyway every day. Today I wanna show you one of these pieces.

 As a contrast, and for more coolness I took a washed jeans.

What I’m wearing:

Especially nice looks the velvet pattern on the blouse. I also have a conscious decision not to wear jewelry in this outfit.

Characteristic of BALMAIN are the shoulder pads, although I’m not a huge fan of shoulder pads, but they look really beautiful on this blouse. The shoulder pads are suitable for the imperial style of the blouse too.

MODE SUISSE EDITION 12 / MEIN OUTFIT

 This Monday, I was at the Mode Suisse 12 a Fashion Show in Zurich to once again discover the great collections of Swiss designers. The Fashionshow with 12 labels was super designed. Today I would like to tell you more about it and present my outfit for the Mode Suisse.

 Yes, this outfit certainly belongs to the more striking variety. But I wanted to make a look with Fishnet Tights for so long. On Monday it seemed to me just super suitable. This great skirt I found at H&M, I love the animal leopard print and the asymmetrical cut.

There were presented 12 different labels at Mode Suisse. The show has been opened by the special guest De Niz Christa de Carouge. The models presented the rather special looks while there was epic sound running. This was followed by the looks of Yvy, a label already discovered by Hollywood stars. Collective Swallow has presented unusual creations as well. A cooperation between Ladina Steiniger and SOL SOL ITO, creative designs for women were created. Before Adrian Reber presented his men’s collection. LIDA NOBA and Kevin Germanier presented both their beautiful creations, the latter scored with a lot of glitter and the most beautiful earrings of the evening.

 My super comfortable ankle boots by Dosenbach carried me stylishly through the evening. The Hard Rock Café Shirt I bought during my stay in Cologne this spring. It fits perfectly to the rocking look. My watch, by the way, is by Mockberg. The Moon Choker by Todaysdesigner, a wonderful jewelery designer from Geneva.

The show continued with the Head Genève represented by Xénia Laffely & Studio Master 1. Premiere at Fashion Suisse celebrated Weer. Garrison convinced through flowing cuts. Ensoie and Julian Zigerli co-operated under the name eJSZ and presented a “See-now-buy-now” Unisex Capsule Collection. The furniture manufacturer de Sede then presented the first collection of bags at Mode Suisse as a world premiere.

Mode Suisse 12 took place at Schiffbau in Zurich, a really great location for the Fashionshow. It almost reminded me of locations at the Berlin Fashionweek this summer

Now I am of course super strained, how do you like my look. Sure, he will surely be too much for some of you. But it is not an everyday look, but fits wonderful to go to a fashionshow. Here is a short overview of the represented labels of Mode Suisse 12.

New Year’s Eve dress 

My search for a New Year’s dress all started in the shopping mall Centro in Oberhausen. A big indoor shopping mall with a ground floor and first floor and is ideal if you want to go shopping for a day, because it’s literally shop till you drop! In front of the shopping mall is an awesome Christmas market with several stands. We took a look there of course and had authentic bread with sausage and sauerkraut HMMNNNN…

The shopping mall Centro belongs to the biggest ones of entire Europe and has more than 220 stores with a food court where you can try diverse cuisines. During shopping I saw a beautiful dark blue dress with light blue glitters on it at Zara. I saw it hanging and I was immediately sold! Besides that, the dress was also discounted from €30,- to €18,-! The decision was quickly made for me! This is the New Year’s Eve party dress for 2016!

The dress starts at my shoulder and on the bottom it goes diagonally, which creates the dynamic look. The fabric is flexible, elastic, not frayed and it feels good, especially if you eat something before, this one is perfect for me! So I matched it with the glitter jacket from the very awesome shop Juul in Den Bosch. This makes my outfit even more glamorous and lastly I add the subtile rosé bracelet from My Bendel. Ready to go into 2017!

Christmas look

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Everywhere you go, Take a look in the five-and-ten, it’s glistening once again, With candy canes and silver lanes that glow – Micheal Bubble.

This songs stays beautiful to listen to. Only one more week to go and it’ll finally be Christmas. These warm days, spending time with the loved ones, where food and drinks shouldn’t be missed.  Nom nom nom!

Solidarity, coziness and a full stomach, that’s the most important thing for me!

But with Christmas, an awesome Christmas outfit goes with it of course. One of the outfits that I will wear is a black/golden dress with a col from H&M. The dress gives as you see emphasis on the waist and is so glamorous. So I matched it with a warm fur coat with a hood from Zara. It’s by the way fake, because real fur, I can’t accept. The bracelets and earrings are from My Bendel, which makes my outfit shine more BLING BLING! At last the shoes from Unisa! To keep the elegance, they cannot be ignored.

I already indicated in the article ‘Black sweater with red dots’ that I will wear a black sweater with red dots during Christmas. Unfortunately I haven’t found a black pleated skirt, so I will match it with a suede skirt that I already have. My 3rd Christmas outfit is just simple, a nice Christmas sweater with a reindeer on it with a Merry Christmas on it and a skinny jean. What will you wear for the holidays?

2 ways to style the colour blue with stripes

The colour blue is one of my favorite colours. It means calm, compassion and caring for me. It also stands for patience, perseverance, conscientious and sensitive. That partly corresponds to my properties except the first one and the last one, because I’m totally not that, haha. Who knows, I might develop it in the course of time 

Anyway, I’ve got two nice outfits for you. In my previous fashion post (link) I had paired pants matched in two different ways. In this post I do that with the colour blue and stripes.

Outfit 1
With the second outfit, I wear a striped Zara dress. Also the dress on the back has the text ‘sorry, no princess here’. YUP, that’s so true! For the dress I chose a panty with print to make the look a bit more fun. Have you seen the velvet shoes with little pineapples? So summery, cute and cheerful! If it’s a bit chilly, you can combine the velvet jacket of Lolly’s Laundry. It gives a very beautiful mother of pearl effect, WOW! To complete the outfit totally, I wear a floral bag from & otherstories. You probably spotted it on my Instagram @esseremoda occasionally 

 Outfit 2
With the first outfit I have a blue garden trousers with white stripes from Weekday. Under the denim garden pants, I have a striped blouse from Weekday. The blouse is airy and very wide. With this you have to be careful that you won’t lose your female shapes quickly. Of course, with this kind of casual look it fits All-Stars. And finally, the shiny sunglasses with feline shape from Monki and the cool gift bag of Pepe Jeans. Have you seen the print?! <3

Sweater weather days

The new year is just a few days old and the first snow has fallen in the Netherlands. Meanwhile the temperature is fluctuating, because in the next few days the temperature will rise a bit. Too bad, we still didn’t get rid of the winter, because since the end of this week, the temperature will be below 0. HASHTAG not so cool!

I often wear sweaters lately, because of the weather, under which a green sweater from H&M. And how comfortable it is for only twenty Euro! So, I have matched this with a black skirt, pantyhose with details on it and glitter shoes. Luckily you can combine sweaters in different ways. By this I created a few combinations.

Sweater with…

• A short/long skirt with eventual pleat/fringe/godet/pencil. With this, the sweater can be put in the skirt as well as over the skirt. High knee boots below and ready to be fashionable!
• Skinny jean, where the sweater is put half in the trousers. For this look, an oversized pinstripe blazer will suit for example. As for shoes, you can go for white sneakers or ankle boots with heels.
• Culotte trousers, styled with a long coat with ankle boots.
• Pantalon, with a basic cardigan, eventually with a detailed waist belt. Ankle boots or pumps below it and done!
• Another sweater (choose one with print) to wear over it to create layers. Go for a turtleneck, so that it will stick out, cover the other sweater. Also you can go for a sweater/blouse that sticks out at the bottom. Wear an awesome blazer or a jacket with sneakers, ankle boots or pumps.
• A dungarees. You can make it a bit sportier by wearing a bomber jacket. Now you only still need all stars shoes below it and you look fab!

And there are zillions of other awesome combinations! As you can see on the photos, I chose for the first one, but without the high knee boots. Unfortunately they won’t suit me, because of my height. Maybe I haven’t found the right one.

Hello autumn!

We cannot avoid it; the leaves are discoloring. Trees are losing their leaves and the busy squirrels are looking for nuts. The nature is changing, in other words: Hello autumn!

In the past days we certainly couldn’t complain, because it was abundantly enjoying the last summer days, but since the autumn weather is coming closer, it’s time to look for a nice autumn outfit or one for the holiday in advance.

Loavies
I found Loavies through Facebook and the first thing that came up to my mind was: ‘trendy, classy, elegant, casual, urban or a combination of it’. Something for everyone! They have very nice items that made it hard for me to send products to the shopping cart. After scrolling for 1 hour, clicking, going back and forth on the pages and clicking again, I made my choice to create a nice outfit.

Personally, I’m in fond of the colour bordeaux. I think it’s a warm, happy colour that is also outstanding during the winter days. This colour with for instance blue and green are colours for this season. As you can see, I chose a bordeaux top with very beautiful details that are partly invisible and with wide sleeves. As Loavies calls it ‘stuck on you red’! To combine this top, I chose a black skirt made of suede that is very warm. By doing so, the top stand out even more beautifully.

To not to get cold, I chose for a sort of navy blue coat with buttons in a double row from the Zara. What I like about this coat is the collar with thin golden stripes. You also see this in the pockets and sleeves. The gold coloured buttons and the patch add some extra to it! Really my style. I love it!

Below my outfit, I’m wearing black pumps from the brand: Unisa. I have to admit that my legs look more elegant now. Lastly, I put nude nail polish from Barry M. for once and I’m wearing a grey twisted headband that keep my ears and head warm. Autumn and the holidays, I am totally ready for it! You too?

How to match your phone case with your outfit

In a short while, perhaps a half year, I had two different phone cases from Claires. Maybe you already know them. If not, you can find them on my Instagram: a colourful phone case with the letters adventure on it and an Ibiza style phone case. Both are very summery!

Too bad, the last one gave up after two months. After dropping my iPhone, my phone case cracked immediately. Goodbye €10! Then I was left with only one phone case that could take it a little longer, namely four months. Also with this one the same thing happened: Kaboom, crack, €10 gone! Though, I was thankful for my iPhone being intact after two times dropping. Time for a new one!
